'ETERNAL YOUTH : KICK IT'은 첫 번째 싱글앨범 'Cut-Out'(컷 아웃)에 이어 새로운 휘브의 이야기가 펼쳐지는 시리즈로, 5세대 K팝 아이돌의 핫루키 WHIB의 업그레이드된 음악성이 담긴 3곡이 수록됐다.

이번 앨범은 ‘청춘은 끝없이 이어지는 여정’이라는 '영원한 청춘'(ETERNAL YOUTH)을 모티브로 삼았다. ‘K팝’이라는 하나의 꿈을 위해 만난 여덟 청춘(Youth)들의 운명적인 여정을 그린다. 청춘의 활기찬 에너지와 열정, 꿈을 이루기 위한 성장통 등을 통해 5세대 아이돌 WHIB의 무한한 가능성을 볼 수 있다.

타이틀곡 'KICK IT'은 방탄소년단(BTS), 아이유 등의 곡을 만든 하이브 소속 프로듀서 엘 캐피탄(EL CAPITXN)과 프로듀싱 벤더스(Vendors) 등이 참여했다. 진정한 친구들이 곁에 있어서 즐겁다는 노랫말과 댄서블한 비트와 감각적인 기타 리프가 인상적인 팝 댄스곡으로, WHIB의 경쾌한 팝 보컬이 어우러졌다. WHIB 멤버 제이더와 유건이 가사에 참여해 눈길을 끈다.

'IN THE MOOD'는 따뜻하고 부드러운 보컬과 싱잉 랩이 돋보이는 미디엄 템포의 R&B 곡이다. 첫사랑을 우연히 다시 만나고, 두근거리는 감정을 WHIB만의 풋풋함과 다채로운 감성으로 표현했다. WHIB의 감미로운 보이스와 리드미컬한 래핑이 어우러져 곡의 완성도를 높였다.
